PickGuideNIKOLATOY Desktop JetFan Review: Is Their Best-Seller Worth It?
NIKOLATOY's literal top best-sellers are mystery "poking lottery" fidget boxes with randomized, undisclosed contents — not something we can honestly spec out in a single-product review. So we picked the brand's next best-seller with fixed, disclosed contents: the Desktop JetFan, a turbofan-styled desk fan built around a 15W Qi wireless charging base. Before recommending it, we also checked the seller's independent review record, and what we found changes how we'd frame this purchase.
The JetFan is a turbofan-shaped desk fan with a carbon-fiber-textured base that doubles as a 15W Qi-compatible wireless phone charger, powered via an included USB-C cable — it has no internal battery, so it needs to stay plugged in to run. The listing is light on hard specs: NIKOLATOY doesn't publish airflow (CFM), noise level in decibels, or tank capacity for the misting function, so we're not going to guess at numbers the brand itself doesn't state. What we can confirm: it ships in a branded box, measures roughly 21 x 21 x 20cm, and is available in red or blue. On the trust side, NIKOLATOY doesn't run any on-site review widget on this or any other product we checked, so there's no on-site rating to report. Independently, NIKOLATOY's Trustpilot page currently displays a rating-unavailable warning — Trustpilot states it has removed a number of fake reviews for this company. Of the 88 reviews that remain, 56% are 1-star and 31% are 5-star, a genuinely polarized split. Real, specific complaints include EU customers being double-charged VAT and items arriving with assembly defects; real, specific positive reviews (including one naming this exact best-seller category) praise responsive customer service and product quality once received.
Pros
- Concrete, fixed-contents product (unlike the brand's "mystery lottery" best-sellers, which can't be honestly spec'd out in advance)
- Genuine dual function: turbofan-styled desk decor plus a real 15W Qi wireless charging pad, not just a novelty fan
- 1-year warranty and a 30-day risk-free return policy stated on the product page
- Free worldwide shipping, with 1-2 day order processing before it ships
- Some independent Trustpilot reviewers specifically praise responsive customer service when problems came up
Cons
- Trustpilot currently shows a guidelines-breach warning for this seller and states it has removed fake reviews — worth knowing before you buy
- No on-site review widget exists anywhere on NIKOLATOY's store, so there's no first-party rating to cross-check
- Of the 88 Trustpilot reviews that remain after moderation, 56% are 1-star, including real complaints about double VAT charges for EU buyers and assembly defects
- The listing doesn't publish airflow, noise level, or tank capacity for the misting function — we're not able to confirm these performance numbers
- Standard shipping takes 5-15 business days on top of 1-2 days processing, slower than many US-warehoused competitors
Who It's For
Good For
- Buyers who specifically want a turbofan-styled desk fan with an integrated Qi wireless charger and are comfortable with the seller's mixed independent track record
- Shoppers who read independent reviews before buying rather than relying on a store's own on-site widget, since this store doesn't have one
- Gift buyers who value the 1-year warranty and 30-day return window as a safety net
Skip If
- You want to check a seller's on-site review base before buying — this store doesn't publish one for any product
- You're not comfortable ordering from a seller whose independent Trustpilot rating is currently flagged as unavailable due to a guidelines breach
- You need exact airflow or noise specs before buying a desk fan — NIKOLATOY doesn't publish them for this product
How It Compares: NIKOLATOY Desktop JetFan vs Sporty's Deluxe Turbofan Engine Desk Fan with Phone Charger
| Spec | NIKOLATOY Desktop JetFan | Sporty's Deluxe Turbofan Engine Desk Fan with Phone Charger |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $59.90 | $89.99 |
| Wireless charging | 15W Qi | Included, wattage not stated |
| Misting/humidifier function | Included | Included ("exhaust mist" effect) |
| Published on-site rating | None | None |
| Seller review trust signal | Trustpilot rating unavailable (guidelines breach) | Established aviation retailer (Sporty's), no flagged issues found |
Both are turbofan-styled desk fans with a wireless charging base and a misting effect, and neither publishes on-site reviews. NIKOLATOY undercuts Sporty's by roughly $30, but Sporty's is a long-established aviation gear retailer without the independent review red flags we found on NIKOLATOY's Trustpilot page. If the seller's trust record matters as much as the price to you, that's worth weighing before choosing between them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the JetFan have a real humidifier?
NIKOLATOY markets a misting function as part of the design, but the brand doesn't publish tank capacity, mist output, or coverage-area specs, so we can't confirm how it performs as an actual humidifier rather than a decorative effect.
Why does this review flag Trustpilot instead of just showing a star rating?
NIKOLATOY doesn't run an on-site review widget for any product we checked, so Trustpilot is the only outside rating source available. That page currently carries a guidelines-breach warning after Trustpilot removed a number of fake reviews, and the remaining 88 reviews skew heavily negative. We think that's essential context for a buying decision, not something to leave out just because it's not flattering.
Verdict
The JetFan itself is a straightforward, fixed-contents product — a turbofan-styled fan with a genuine 15W Qi charging base — which is why we picked it over the brand's actual top-selling mystery boxes. But we can't respond to that in isolation: Trustpilot currently marks NIKOLATOY's rating unavailable due to a guidelines breach after removing fake reviews, and the 88 reviews that remain skew heavily negative (56% one-star), with real complaints about double VAT charges and assembly quality alongside real praise for customer service responsiveness. There's no on-site review widget to weigh against that. If you buy, the 1-year warranty and 30-day return window are real protections worth knowing about — but go in with clear eyes about the seller's independently-flagged review history, not just the product's own feature list.
